Presidential Election Candidates

AASA holds elections annually for president-elect.

AASA President-Elect Process
Eligibility

To be eligible to run for AASA President-Elect, a member must have been:

  • an eligible AASA voting member for at least three (3) immediately preceding years;
  • a member in good standing of a chartered affiliate for at least the three (3) immediately preceding years and a current member of the Governing Board and/or Executive Committee; or
  • a former member of either the Governing Board or the Executive Committee, having served during at least one of the three (3) immediately preceding years.
Candidate Filing

Candidates must submit a completed Candidate Filing Packet and the $500 filing fee no later than 5:00 pm ET on Friday, December 5, 2025.

Presidential Election Candidates 2026

Eligible voters should have received their ballots via email. If you have not received your ballot, please contact support@directvote.net.
