Jessicca began her career in education while attending college at the University of California, Davis. During this time, she served as an intern, and was later hired, in the Policy & Programs department at the California School Boards Association. She expanded her expertise by developing tools and resources for school board members on California’s new local control funding formula. Jessicca later transitioned to supporting schools with student attendance improvement by regularly providing updates on attendance trends throughout the pandemic to local LEA’s across the state. As the current Executive Director for Solution Tree’s California State Office, Jessicca strives to provide resources and support to educators across California by staying connected to stakeholders from the Capitol to the classroom. Jessicca is fully invested in education as is evidenced by her service as a school board member in Northern California, her role of President at the local County School Boards Association, and her participation as a state-wide School Board Delegate, Region 6.
Dr. Ron Carruth

Dr. Ron Carruth is a California native from the Greater Sacramento area. He has served as a Superintendent for 16 years including ten years in the Whittier City School District and six years as Superintendent of the El Dorado Union High School District. Ron also serves as the President of ACSA State Superintendents’ Council and is the Executive Director of the California High School Coalition. Ron was named the ACSA State Ferd Kiesel ACSA Administrator of the Year, ACSA’s highest award in 2023. Formerly he was named the Marcus Foster State Administrator of the Year for Educational Excellence, and previously the ACSA State Administrator of the Year for Instruction and was the Superintendent of the Year for ACSA Region XV. Dr. Carruth has served in roles including superintendent, assistant superintendent, high school principal, assistant principal, teacher, coach and has experience in unified school districts, elementary K-8 school districts and high school districts in his 37 years as an educator.
