Mental Health and Social and Emotional Learning Summit
In today's educational landscape, academic achievement is not the sole measure of student success. Mental wellness, character development and interpersonal skills all play a pivotal role in shaping well-rounded, resilient individuals ready to excel academically and in life.
AASA’s Mental Health and Social and Emotional Learning Summit will bring district leaders across the country together to explore the latest data, research and trends around SEL and the mental health needs of students and school communities at-large.
Attendees will have an opportunity to:
- Build a network of support in advancing your district's mental health and SEL initiatives
- Explore new tools, case studies and actionable strategies to bring to your district
- Discover the power of robust mental health and SEL support in improving academic performance, increasing graduation rates and more
Equip your district with the tools to cultivate emotionally intelligent, adaptable students prepared to face the challenges of today and the future!
Who should attend?
Superintendents, district staff, building leaders and other educational leaders and advocates interested in furthering SEL and mental health programs and initiatives in their school communities.
Registered SEL Cohort and Mental Health Cohort participants receive complimentary registration to the summit.
Summit Leads and Speakers
As we continue to review our mental health/education landscape, we must pay close attention to the feedback we receive from our students at all levels. Discussions with our students will better inform us as to how we can provide immediate quality mental health support.
