Are you a central office leader dedicated to advancing principals' instructional leadership growth? Applications are now open for our collaborative academy with the University of Washington's Center for Educational Leadership (CEL).
The AASA National Principal Supervisor Academy (NPSA) explores:
- Standards-Based Approach: Our academy, rooted in the national Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (PSEL), leverages research from the Wallace Foundation and CEL's Principal Support Framework.
- Four Action Areas: Dive into the Principal Support Framework, focusing on fostering an inclusive leadership culture, co-creating a shared vision, establishing a robust support system and cultivating strategic partnerships between central offices and principals.
- Interactive Learning: Engage in hands-on problem-solving, delve into impactful case studies, connect with peers in virtual professional communities and receive personalized coaching sessions.
- Innovative Supervision: Explore cutting-edge strategies to support principals at scale, especially in the face of unprecedented change. Learn how to lead with a focus on partnership, teaching and mutual accountability.
An East, West and Virtual academy will be offered in 2024.
