Rick Fernandez
Director of Executive Engagement, Superintendent in Residence, PowerSchool
Dr. Rick Fernandez currently serves as the Superintendent in Residence for PowerSchool, where he supports state strategy and executive engagements. As a former Superintendent in Texas, Rick has an in-depth understanding of the diverse needs of students, staff, and communities across the state. He has served in some of the largest school districts in the state of Texas, including Houston Independent School District, Katy Independent School District and Tomball Independent School District.
Additionally, he serves as the Director of Leadership for the Texas Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents as well as sits on the Board of Regents for Gracelyn University. Rick is passionate about all things Career and Tech (CTE) and is a former college basketball player.
