Nate served as a superintendent of East Hartford Public Schools for 20 years. His deep experience in school system leadership includes being an exemplary leader in the area of family engagement. Nate has made establishing relationships with families a priority from his budgetary priorities to his facilities decisions.
Nate's dedication to family engagement helped increase graduation rates in EHPS (a Title I school system) by 10% in the last 5 years.
