Michael Little, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis in the College of Education at NC State University, where his research focuses on Pre-K-3 leadership, early childhood education policy, and alignment across the early grades. He has served as principal investigator on research and evaluation projects funded by the Institute of Education Sciences, the National Science Foundation, and the Belk Foundation, and he sits on the editorial board of the American Educational Research Journal. Little has published more than 45 peer-reviewed articles on early childhood policy and leadership and regularly consults with states and districts on the topic.
