Jon Laing

Jon Laing is the Chief Financial Officer for Lansing Public Schools, overseeing the District’s purchasing and financial operations. He joined the District in 2008 as an accountant and assumed leadership of the Purchasing Department in 2013. Jon manages procurement processes and ensures efficient use of resources across the District. Prior to his work in K12 education, he spent ten years in the business office at Davenport University. He is an experienced presenter and has spoken multiple times at the Michigan School Business Officials annual conference and in certification classes.
