Jessica Gordon

Jessica Gordon joined AASA in 2021 as a program manager. She manages several of the programs within AASA's Center for Leadership & Learning. In this role, she provides support for the Urban Superintendents Academy for both Howard University and the University of Southern California, the Redefining Ready! Cohort, and the Leadership Academy for Black Educators.

 Before coming to AASA, Jessica was the Director of Leadership Development within Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. She also served as a public school classroom teacher for 7 years.

A native of North Carolina, Jessica graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education. She completed her master’s degree in Instructional Technology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
