Jake Alverson
Director of Procurement, Green Bay Area Public Schools (Wis.)
Jake Alverson is the Director of Procurement for the Green Bay Area Public School District, which serves approximately 18,000 students across more than 38 schools. He oversees the solicitation, award, and administration of roughly $50 million in commodity, service, and construction contracts annually. Prior to this role, Jake spent 22 years in federal procurement as a U.S. Air Force officer and later as a civilian with the Department of Veterans Affairs. He holds a B.S. in Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, an M.S. in Contract Management from American Graduate University, and a DAWIA Level III certification.
