Gabriela Iturri

Meetings Manager, AASA, The School Superintendents Association

Gabriela Iturri joined AASA in 2016 as a Meeting Coordinator.  As a Meeting Planner, she manages various programs across the different departments within the Association.  She oversees and works on logistics for the Leadership Network Events, Governance, State leadership, Running the Store, and Legislative Advocacy Conference.  She also manages various aspects of the National Conference on Education.

Along with the events, she oversees the Distinguished Services Award and the Educational Administration Scholarship.

Before coming to AASA, Gabriela worked at the Westin in Washington, DC as a Catering Sales Manager.  She was born in Peru and moved to the USA when she was a teenager.  She graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Hospitality with a specialization in Event Planning.
