Beth Silveira

Senior Director, Leadership Network, AASA, The School Superintendents Association

As Senior Director, Center of Leadership and Learning, Beth Silveira partners with superintendents and state agency leaders across the country, helping districts turn ambitious visions for student and staff success into clear, actionable strategy.

Developing leaders at every level of an organization has been the throughline of Beth's career. Before AASA, she spent nearly a decade in senior district leadership roles — including as Senior Director of Professional Learning and Senior Director of Innovative and Strategic Initiatives — at the Wake County Public School System, one of the largest school districts in the country.

Earlier in her career, Beth spent over a decade as a classroom teacher and school-based instructional leader, including as a curriculum facilitator and lead teacher, and served as an Adjunct Professor at Elon University. She is a frequent presenter at state and national education conferences, a Gallup-trained Strengths Coach, and a Cognitive Coach through Thinking Collaborative, and is currently pursuing her ICF ACC coaching credentials.

A long time resident of North Carolina, she earned her teaching, Principal, and Superintendent professional licenses as well as Masters and Education Specialist degrees, from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
