JED High School

High school can be a tough time for students, and many will struggle with their mental health. They face challenges developing social connections in their school community, engaging in help-seeking behaviors, building life skills, and seeking treatment.

To address these challenges, JED High School was created to support students’ mental health and emotional well-being. This 18-24 month technical assistance program is dedicated to helping districts and high schools evaluate and strengthen their programming and systems related to suicide prevention, mental health, and substance misuse prevention.

JED High School is a program of The Jed Foundation, a nonprofit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults. Nearly 5 million students attend schools that use JED programs to support their mental health.

JED High School is modeled after JED Campus, a 4-year program that has partnered with 370+ colleges and universities nationwide.
