Leaders learning from each other at a tableAASA partners with Center for Model Schools™ to deliver the Superintendent Teaching and Learning Cohort. Using a framework for rapid, iterative change, this cohort helps leaders to:

  • Define challenges and their root causes
  • Identify changes to solve challenges
  • Test the efficacy of those changes
  • Scale changes to meaningfully impact teaching and learning

Leaders will learn and use improvement science to create coherent system-wide strategies that address compelling and measurable goals that directly impact adult practice, student learning and engagement so that every child has access to the Model School they deserve!

Cohort Details

There are two offerings of this learning cohort:

For Superintendents Only For Superintendents + Team

Designed for superintendents only. Participation Fee: $4,950/person

Participants will engage in a series of meetings, both virtually and in-person:

  • May, 15, 2024 - Virtual
  • June 22 - 23, 2024 - Center for Model Schools Conference in Orlando, Fla.
  • September 20, 2024 - Virtual
  • December 13, 2024 - Virtual
  • February 24, 2025 - Virtual
  • March 5, 2025 - National Conference on Education in New Orleans, La.
  • March 21, 2025 - Virtual

Registration is included for the Model Schools Conference: June 23 - 26, 2024. Additional district team members will be able to register for the conference at a special discounted rate!

Participants will also receive six 1-hour individual coaching sessions!
