Kaine, Domenech speak at CEF Sequester Briefing

U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va) and AASA Executive Director Daniel A. Domenech joined national educators today on Capitol Hill to discuss the impact sequester cuts are having on education programs. The briefing was hosted by the Committee for Education Funding (CEF).  Read more.

2013 Broad Prize Awarded for Second Time to Houston Independent School District

Houston Independent School District, led by 30-year AASA member Terry Grier, is recognized as the urban school district with the greatest improvement in student achievement in recent years. The district receives $550,000 in college scholarships for high school seniors.
