Transformational Leadership Consortium Group

Participation in AASA's Transformational Leadership Consortium will allow district leaders the opportunity to develop leadership skills in innovation that will help them lead future-driven education systems. Through in-person site visits and quarterly virtual meetings, cohort members will build sustainable relationships with colleagues across the country while learning about transformational leadership strategies that can be scaled, replicated and implemented in different districts.

Essential Questions

 How do your programs prepare students to be successful in their local and/or global economy?
 How can we learn from each other's school districts to adapt and implement powerful strategies and programs in our own districts?
 How can opportunities to innovate for both children and adults strengthen the local economy?
Who should participate?
Any district leader who is interested in developing their skills in innovation and transformation in their district, particularly superintendents, assistant superintendents, and program leaders
What will I learn?
  • Experience innovation in schools, unique programming, modern facilities and community partnerships
  • Engage/observe best practice in digital leadership 
  • Advance AASA's goal to build learner-centered, equity-focused, future-driven education systems  
  • Forge relationships that will support and enhance your leadership throughout your career

2024 - 2025 Meeting Schedule

Virtual Meetings

All virtual meetings will take place from 11:00am - 12:00pm ET on the following dates:

  • August 23, 2024
  • November 1, 2024
  • February 21, 2025
  • April 18, 2025

In-Person Meetings

Registered cohort members receive complimentary registration to in-person meetings. Team members and guests are welcome to register and attend at a separate cost.
