STEM Leadership Consortium

The purpose of the STEM Leadership Consortium is to develop and support a cadre of STEM focused superintendents who understand the complexity of school culture and the urgency of increasing student interest in STEM fields.
By joining STEM Leadership Consortium, you will:
- Learn ways to build a STEM-based framework/curriculum to build pathways to local industry
- Use research-based STEM Leadership indicators to develop, evaluate, and improve STEM initiatives in your district, with the opportunity to be nationally recognized as a STEM Certified district
- Learn about higher education STEM partnerships
- Develop a deeper understanding of how STEM indicators play out in different contexts within your district
- Learn with and from visionary leaders who are at every phase of implementing these new measures of success for their students
- Work with leaders across the country to more authentically and appropriately assess and demonstrate high school graduates' readiness to survive and thrive in their futures
- Promote STEM literacy and equity for all students in K-12 schooling
Any district leader who is interested in furthering the STEM Leadership initiative and mission, particularly superintendents, assistant superintendents, district office staff and experienced principals.
Virtual Meetings:
Team members are welcome to join the virtual meetings.

In-Person Meetings:
Registered consortium participants receive complimentary registration to the in-person meetings. Other team members are welcome to register to attend at a separate cost.
