AASA is committed to preparing a diverse talent pool of leaders to support America's schools and school systems.
In recent years, AASA has engaged in an initiative to elevate the role of women and other underrepresented leaders in education. AASA hosts an Aspiring Superintendent Academy® for Female Leaders as well as this National Women's Leadership Consortium.
This consortium is specifically designed for women in leadership positions across all sectors impacting public education!

We believe that with Women Educators Leading Learning (#AASAWELL), we can truly change the landscape of growth opportunities for the young people in this nation.
In-Person:
- May 9 - 11, 2023, Alexandria, Va., adjourning at noon on May 11, 2023
- February 13 - 14, 2024, prior to the 2024 National Conference on Education
Virtual Sessions:
3rd Thursday's of the month, 4pm - 5pm ET beginning after the first in-person meeting in May.
