Redefining Ready! Cohort
More than a test score.
In today's rapidly changing world, the traditional markers of readiness – standardized test scores – fall short in capturing the full spectrum of our students' potential. Be part of AASA's initiative to reshape what "ready" looks like across the country. AASA's Redefining Ready! Cohort introduces you to cutting-edge, research-based metrics that truly reflect college, career and life readiness. You'll become part of a national movement to transform education policy, legislation and practice.
Learning Outcomes:
- Use research-based college, career and life readiness indicators, and new K-8 indicators to shape your district’s direction
- Develop a deeper understanding of how these readiness indicators play out in different contexts
- Learn with and from visionary leaders who are at every phase of implementing these new measures of success for their students
- Work with leaders across the country to more authentically and appropriately assess and demonstrate high school graduates' readiness to survive and thrive in their futures
- Encourage success for all students beyond K-12 schooling
Any district leader who is interested in furthering the Redefining Ready! initiative and mission, particularly superintendents, assistant superintendents, district office staff and principals.
2024 - 2025 Meeting Schedule
Virtual Meetings
All virtual meetings will be held from 1:00pm - 2:30pm ET on the following dates:

In-Person Meetings
Registered cohort members receive complimentary registration to in-person meetings. Team members and guests are welcome to register and attend at a separate cost.
