Alexandria, Va. – Oct. 10, 2017 – With a new school year underway, the need for streamlined safety communication and resources continues to grow. AASA, The School Superintendents Association, and CrisisGo, the provider of an emergency planning and communications platform, are offering digital response plans to AASA members at no cost.

The CrisisGo mobile app allows school administrators, teachers and school staff to transform their smartphones into mobile safety devices. The user-friendly, digitized emergency plans also include role-based checklists and emergency communication groups.

“These tools allow school personnel to have instant access to emergency response procedures, maps and how-to documents on their mobile devices,” said Bill Reynolds, vice president, CrisisGo. “Safety teams will be able to send messages to teachers and staff in the event of an emergency.”
