Nation’s Top Superintendents Convene For AASA’s 2016 State Superintendent Of The Year Forum

Alexandria, Va. – Nov. 15, 2016 – As AASA, The School Superintendents Association, continues to celebrate public school champions for children, the 2016 State Superintendents of the Year will gather in Washington, D.C., Nov. 15-17, 2016, to discuss the most critical issues in education today. 

The forum, which will kick off with a gala at the Mayflower Renaissance Hotel, is co-sponsored by AASA, Aramark and VALIC. 

Attendees will include Thomas Tucker, superintendent of Ohio’s Princeton City Schools andAASA’s 2016 National Superintendent of the Year. This year’s State Superintendents of the Year are also attending.

“The superintendents we are honoring are strong leaders in every sense and care deeply about ensuring a quality education for their students,” said John Hanner, president, Aramark K-12 Education. “Aramark is proud to be the founding sponsor of AASA’s Superintendent of the Year program.
