PreciouStatus CEO Appears on National Radio Program

Julie Gilbert NewraiJulie Gilbert Newrai, company founder and CEO of PreciouStatus, an AASA School Solutions partner, recently appeared on Education Talk Radio, an Internet radio program.

PreciouStatus is a Minnesota-based mobile app developer and eight-time award winner for innovation. The company’s software is providing the capability for teachers to easily send real-time updates directly to parents and loved ones. Through the growth of digital media, the company is involving scores of communities, regardless of technology preference or socioeconomic status.

“Our mission is to increase the outcomes of every single child,” said Newrai.  “Our focus is to engage the entire family unit in a way that’s fun to give them “intel” on (their child’s learning). It’s a win-win-win, teacher-child-parent.”

AASA launched a partnership with PreciouStatus in November 2015. We are looking to “give the tools necessary to build a leadership pipeline of superintendents,” said Newrai. “I found that in AASA.”
