Host Chinese Students Through Cultural Exchange Opportunities Available Nationwide

Sino-American Youth Ambassadors Program (SAYA)/Sino-American Student Exchange Program (SASE)

Chinese students will spend a week with U.S. host families and attend classes in American high schools.

Duration: Saturday, January 25, 2014 -- Saturday, February 1, 2014
Participation in SAYA and SASE is 100 percent free for schools. A stipend to families that host students will be provided.

Initial Expression of Interest Preferably by November 29, 2013
Final Deadline: December 13, 2013

About the Chinese Students:
• They come from top schools throughout China and are of different cultural backgrounds.
• The students are screened by AST (Ameson Scholastic Test-a proficiency test of English, Math, and Physics recognized by many leading American universities).
• They all go through an orientation process that covers American history, education, culture and economics, etc.
• The students will present Chinese language or culture seminars for American students.

American Schools Are Responsible for the Following:
• Selecting appropriate host families for participating Chinese students.
• Making necessary arrangements, such as ensuring students have transportation between the host home and the school.

Ameson Education and Cultural Exchange Foundation:
• Ameson will assume responsibility for the logistics, travel arrangements and safety for Chinese students while in the U.S., including comprehensive transportation and full insurance coverage.
• Ameson provides a Chinese teacher chaperone to accompany the students overseas.
