AASA Hosts 4th Annual Social Media Lounge at 2018 National Conference on Education

Nashville, Tenn. – Feb. 14, 2018 – Hundreds of school superintendents — America’s foremost thought leaders in public education — will have ample opportunities to learn the latest social media tools and winning strategies at the fourth annual Social Media Lounge in Nashville, Tenn., Feb. 15-17, during the 2018 National Conference on Education, hosted by AASA, The School Superintendents Association.

Attendees can learn successful models and best practices already being used in school districts, gain hands-on social media assistance, make new connections and take advantage of photo and video opportunities.

“In order for our school districts to effectively engage with key stakeholders within their respective communities, social media is not just a nice to have, it’s a must have,” said Gayane Minasyan, AASA online technologies director. “We are pleased that more and more school system leaders are turning to social media, which plays an important role in training and developing the next generation of leaders.  We are thankful for the generous support of our sponsor Aramark for making the social media lounge possible at AASA’s national conference.
