What:  AASA, The School Superintendents Association, will announce the 2017 National Superintendent of the Year during the National Conference on Education in New Orleans, La. The National Superintendent of the Year program, co-sponsored by Aramark, VALIC and AASA, now in its 30th year, celebrates the contributions and leadership of public school superintendents. Hundreds of school system leaders will convene to discuss the most critical issues in public education.

 

When: The announcement will be made Thursday, March 2, 2017, during the Opening General Session from 10:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. (local time).

 

Who: The four finalists for the 2017 AASA National Superintendent of the Year.
