"Our students have been greatly impacted by the AASA/NLPA grant! Through the grant received, our main focus was to provide weather appropriate clothing for our students in poverty and in need of support. We also used funding to provide vision care from a local eye center for students without insurance or financial stability."

 East Providence Public Schools (East Providence, R.I.);

"The East Providence School Department again "Thanks" AASA/NJPA for funding the Warm Bodies and Bellies Grant that provided coats, hats, mittens, and food (soup, oatmeal and milk) for prekindergarten children and their families. We provided children with warm weather gear and set up and stocked a food pantry in our building."
