Alexandria, Va. – Jan. 5, 2017 – The four finalists for the 2017 AASA National Superintendent of the Year will participate in a panel discussion on current trends in education on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. (ET) at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Education Week’s Denisa Superville will moderate the panel.

Daniel A. Domenech, executive director of AASA, The School Superintendents Association, will provide remarks. Members of the media are invited to attend.

Announced on Dec. 21, 2016, the four finalists for 2017 AASA National Superintendent of the Year are:
