The Coalition to Support Grieving Students Resources
The Coalition to Support Grieving Students has developed a set of resources that have been broadly approved by leading professional organizations to guide educators and other school personnel in supporting and caring for their grieving students.
- Coalition to Support Grieving Students Website: This primary resource, a practitioner-oriented website, provides practical accessible information for classroom educators, principals, administrators, and students support personnel. It offers trainings, videos, electronic copies of guides produced for this project for users.
NCE 2015 Resources
- During the National Conference of Education (NCE) in February 2015, AASA held a presentation on grief and loss led by Dr. David Schonfeld, Director, National Center for School Crisis and Bereavement
- Education Talk Radio conducted an interview on AASA's involvement with the Coalition to Support Grieving Students in February 2015. It featured Dr. David Schonfeld, Director, National Center for School Crisis and Bereavement and Kayla Jackson, Project Director in AASA's Children's Programs. Listen to the interview.
