Make Sure You Receive Your AASA Member Messages and Electronic Newsletters

Why do you need to add AASA to your address book?

AASA members receive valuable e-mail newsletters and messages as a benefit of membership. However, many e-mail services and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have blocking or filtering systems in place to help protect you from unsolicited e-mail. These same systems may inadvertently block e-mail you receive from AASA as a member benefit.

Make sure you get your AASA electronic newsletters, special offers, promotions and new product news by following these directions to add AASA to your contact list, address book or safe list. For your specific e-mail provider, please follow the recommended steps below to ensure you receive AASA electronic communications.

Add AASA addresses to your contacts list, address book or safe list:

  1. Add communications@aasa.org and nce@aasa.org to your contacts list, address book or safe list.
  2. Some e-mail providers allow you to add the AASA domain, which lets all AASA electronic communications reach you. If your e-mail provider permits this, please add aasa.org to your contacts list, address book or safe list.

Are you using spam-filtering software?

If you are using spam-filtering software, you can enter the AASA domain or subscription address into your filtering software "white list" to ensure you continue receiving electronic communications from AASA.

  • If you are spam filtering for personal use and your e-mail provider allows you to enter a domain, please add aasa.org. If your e-mail provider does not allow you to add a domain, please add communications@aasa.org and nce@aasa.org to your book.
  • If your company is using spam-filtering software, contact your information technology department and ask them to add the AASA domain (aasa.org) or e-mail addresses (communications@aasa.org and nce@aasa.org) to the "white list."

DON'T FORGET: AASA members may opt in or out of AASA electronic newsletters at any time. To manage your AASA electronic communications:

  • Update your member profile by logging on to the AASA website. When you update your profile, including your current e-mail address, you can opt in or out of receiving AASA electronic newsletters.
  • Call 703-875-0748 and a member services representative will be happy to assist you in updating your profile.
  • E-mail membership@aasa.org and let us know which AASA electronic newsletters you wish to receive.
