AASA Launches ‘AASA Update with Dan Domenech’

Alexandria, Va. – Nov. 12, 2013 – AASA, The School Superintendents Association, unveiled today AASA Update with Dan Domenech, a video program providing news and information about the organization’s policies and programs.

In the program’s pilot episode, Domenech, the executive director of AASA, discusses the 2013 AASA National Superintendent of the Year Forum, to be held on Thursday, Nov. 14 in Arlington, Va. Other AASA events Domenech talks about include the organization’s first annual gala (Nov. 13) and visits by State Superintendents of the Year to Capitol Hill where they will meet with members of Congress on Friday, Nov. 15, to discuss important education issues such as the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, career and technical education, teacher preparation, education technology, rural education and education funding.
