California Superintendent Discusses Filling the Budget Gap on AASA Radio

Alexandria, Va. – (Oct. 22, 2013) – Shrinking budgets are a fact of life in school districts across the nation. Some school districts are now looking to parents to help offset lost school funding.

Marc Jackson, superintendent of the Silver Valley Unified School District (USD) in Yermo, Calif., discusses this important topic on AASA Radio with host Dan Domenech, executive director, AASA, The School Superintendents Association.

An AASA member, Jackson has been the superintendent in Silver Valley USD for the past eight years. He is also a member of AASA’s Governing Board.
