The Western States Benchmarking Consortium (WSBC), is one of several consortiums developed by AASA Leadership Development department. These consortiums allow like-minded leaders to focus on key issues and learn from each other, with the goal of improving education for all children.
WSBC, working in a strong partnership with AASA, The School Superintendents Association, has enabled the leaders of its seven constituent districts to address important issues related to student achievement by providing a means for these leaders to provide mutual support for one another and to engage their staff members in projects that have benefited the students in each district. The WSBC is a forum that has proven to be a powerful asset for these leaders as they seek to make significant improvements in the effectiveness of the systems that they serve.
Active membership of the WSBC now includes seven school districts committed to continuous improvement in learning for all students.
