MY VIEW

As we progress through the third year since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we all have our own perspectives on what we experienced and what we’ve learned. As the superintendent of an urban New Jersey school district, I oversaw our abrupt 2020 switch to virtual instruction, then 13 months later, led the transition back to in-person learning, complete with masks, plexiglass barriers and social distancing.
