MY VIEW

After being beaten up a little during the culture wars of the past couple of years, I began to question if my leadership really had led my small, rural district in upstate New York astray. Perhaps, as some suggested, I was wrong about masking during the pandemic, opposing book removal from schools and promoting student equity. Had I somehow become an unwitting propaganda tool of the left?

It is hard to trust your internal compass when the world seems to be upside down.
