AASA's 2016 China Program Convenes This Week in Beijing

Alexandria, Va. – (July 6, 2016) – In an effort to provide a platform for U.S. educators to build professional networks with their Chinese counterparts, AASA’s 2016 Discover China program convenes this week in Beijing.

Sponsored by Triway International Group, the weeklong program begins with a visit to the Beijing Institute of Education Friday, July 8 and will conclude Friday, July 15.

Program topics program will include:

  • Current and potential programs between China and the U.S.;
  • STEM education;
  • AASA’s National Superintendent Certification program;
  • AASA’s National Conference on Education;
  • School Leadership and
  • The education system in the Jiangsu Province.

The Chinese delegation will visit the Wuxi City Commission of Education, the Ministry of Education, the National Academy of Education Administration, Beijing Normal University and the Jiangsu Province Xishan High School.
