 K-12 Triway

K-12 Education Leadership is a program jointly developed by AASA and Triway, based on years of experience of the two organizations in conducting training programs for K-12 school principals and the concept and practices of AASA’s Superintendent Certification Program. The targeted participants of the program include directors of local education bureaus, K-12 education administrators and elementary school, middle and high school principals in China. The ten day program shall feature speakers from both countries who are experts in K-12 education. The experts will conduct the training sessions through lectures, case analysis, teaching method demonstration, and seminar discussions that are lively in format and with emphasis on management practices. Major topics are: general introduction to and comparison between the K-12 education systems of China and the U.S.; the establishment of common visions for education, and the initiation, cultivation and retaining of good campus culture and teaching methods; school administration; the morality and ethics in education conduct, etc.

 In October of 2015, a group of school principals from China organized by the Beijing Institute of Education attended a three week customized training program on education leadership in the U.S.
