AASA Leadership to Discuss Education Issues in Abington, Pa.

Alexandria, Va. – Aug. 16, 2013 – The leadership of AASA, The School Superintendents Association, will discuss the state of public school education on Aug. 27 and 28, 2013, in Abington, Pa. The two-day event, Celebrate Public School Education, will feature AASA President Amy F. Sichel and AASA Executive Director Daniel A. Domenech. Sichel, the superintendent of schools at the Abington School District and the 2010 Pennsylvania Superintendent of the Year, was installed as AASA president in July. James (Jim) Buckheit, the executive director of the Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators, will participate in the Tuesday portion of the event.
