New and Aspiring Superintendents

AASA is expanding the pool of new and aspiring superintendents by providing programs that instill knowledge, build skills and develop leadership capabilities. Program content is particularly relevant for new and aspiring superintendents.

New Superintendents E-Journal

This quarterly electronic newsletter is written specifically for those who are in their first months and years of the superintendency. Even if you are a veteran superintendent, who has just landed a job in a new district, these e-journal articles provide a refresher course on issues to keep front and center during the early tenure of your new post.

To subscribe to this quarterly electronic newsletter, send your subscription request to members@aasa.org.

The New Superintendents E-Journal is made possible through the generous support of Pearson Education.

New Superintendents Journal

This annual publication is published each fall and includes articles written by recognized national experts on topics identified by new superintendents as areas where they need help. It is provided as a free resource by AASA and AASA state affiliates to all new superintendents.

If you are a new superintendent, make sure to contact your state association to request a copy.

If you are not a new superintendent and are interested in purchasing a copy of this publication ($10 each to cover shipping and handling), contact MaryAnn Jobe at AASA.

The New Superintendents Journal is made possible through the generous support of ING.
